GOOD TO KNOW

Before waxing

"

  • Please come to us with a hair length of at least half a centimeter, otherwise we will not be able to achieve a 100% final result. If you arrive with shorter hair, please note that shorter strands may remain, which we can only wax the next time.

  • If you have shaved the area so far, starting from the last hair removal, at least 12-14 days should pass due to the appropriate hair length, so that the resin "sticks" to the hairs.

  • Longer threads are not a problem. With a trimmer, they prepare the area to the right length so that it can be waxed.

  • Don't go to the solarium before, or check in with us after a long sunbath/holiday because your skin can become much more vulnerable.

  • On the day of the treatment, you should wear lighter cotton panties or "laser-cut" underwear due to the sensitivity of the area.

  • If you're coming for bikini line waxing bring your favourite bikini with you, so we follow it's contour.

  • Do not exfoliate your skin for 4-5 days before treatment because you can make your epidermis vulnerable.

  • You can also come to us during menstruation, but please note that we are much more sensitive during this time, especially in the first few days.

  • On the day of the treatment, if possible, do not use oily creams/body lotions because it makes it difficult for the resin to adhere properly to your skin.

After waxing

  • The 24-48 hours after the treatment (depending on sensitivity) require extra care for your skin.

  • In the 4-5 days after waxing, do not exfoliate your skin because your epidermis may become vulnerable, and it is not necessary, since dead skin cells are removed during waxing.

  • Avoid public baths, saunas, and bathtubs, as bacteria can be found everywhere.

  • Avoid solariums, sunbathing (burning) may develop hyperpigmentation on your skin.

  • On the day of waxing, avoid physical exercise accompanied by sweat, because salty sweat can corrode your already sensitive skin, and mechanical impact can also irritate the skin surface, which can lead to skin damage.

  • Only touch the waxed area with clean hands, as the pores are still open and bacteria can multiply on the surface.

  • After treatment, take a shower instead of taking a hot bath. Hot water can irritate your skin, the goal is to soothe the skin. After the treatment, wait 5-6 hours for the aftercare to be effective.
